GDPR
What is GDPR?
GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) is a new set of EU guidelines governing how organisations like schools handle personal data. The new regulations replaced the Data Protection Act (DPA) and was legally enforced from 25 May 2018.
It refers to any operation or set of operations performed on personal data, whether that operation is automated or not. That includes collecting it, organising it, structuring it, storing it or retrieving it.
